Jimmy A. Snow Jr. has been counseling individuals, couples, and families for over 10 years. He specializes in treating adolescent behavioral issues, couples issues, bullying, post traumatic stress, depression, and anxiety.
He is a problem solver and will work with you to identify your strengths as a resource to meet your goals for counseling.
Sandy Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor and an LPC Board Approved Supervisor. She is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT). She is a Registered Play Therapist – Supervisor and utilizes play and Sandtray therapy to help children give voice to their thoughts and feelings. “For children, toys are their words and play is their language” (Landreth, 2002).
Sandy has over 10 years of experience working with children and families and is honored to walk alongside those who are facing difficult circumstances or struggling with life issues. Her specialties include ADHD, trauma/abuse/PTSD, grief, anxiety, parenting, behavior modification, marriage, divorce recovery, and children dealing with parental divorce.
Sandy believes that true healing must involve the whole person: body (actions), mind (thoughts) and spirit (beliefs). She is a Christian and offers clients the opportunity to integrate Christian principles into counseling sessions.
Lori Allen is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 15 years of experience treating individuals, couples, families, and children. She is certified in EMDR, which is an evidenced based therapy proven to decrease symptoms associated with traumatic experiences. She is also trained in Play Therapy and Sandtray Therapy for children and adults. She specializes in the treatment of child abuse, physical abuse, sexual assault, and general anxiety. She works with all types of clients to help them heal from negative experiences, overcome negative beliefs, enhance personal relationships and improve their overall quality of life. Lori sees clients in both the West Monroe and Ruston offices.
Ondie Chipmon is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families that have experienced trauma. She utilizes a holistic approach of mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual in helping clients reach their goals. She sees clients at the Ruston and West Monroe locations. Besides time spent in session, she enjoys utilizing her play therapy skills and techniques to benefit multiple populations in her community, such as parents, teachers, church groups, etc. She is trained as an EMDR therapist with a specialty in EMDR Sandtray Protocol with Children and Adolescents.
Amy Snow has fifteen years of experience in office management and billing. She strives to assist clients by setting appointments, mediating insurance companies, and effectively communicating with the therapists in our office. She sees her work as an extension of the ministry God has called her to during this time in her life.
