Lori Allen has 17 years of clinical experience working with individuals, families, and children. She specializes in the treatment of anxiety, depression, abuse, assault, trauma, grief, and child behavioral issues. She is Certified in EMDR Therapy and uses it to help clients work through traumatic experiences and negative self beliefs. Lori is also trained in Neurofeedback Therapy which is an interactive brain training treatment used to address symptoms of ADHD, Anxiety, and Depression. She can conduct an individualized brain assessment that will give you information regarding any symptoms associated with irregular brain wave activity, and then provide brain training with the use of audio/visual applications to regulate brain waves and improve your overall functioning. Lori also has extensive training in play therapy and uses it with children 3-12 years old.
When not at SCS, Lori works as the School Counselor for Claiborne Christian School in West Monroe. She also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Living Well Foundation in Ouachita Parish. Lori has been married for 19 years and has a 14 year old son.
