Dr. Latoya Pierce is a licensed therapist and has taught masters level students seeking to become future counselors for over 18 years as a Counselor Educator. Dr. Pierce is currently serving in an administrativerole in higher education, and continues to see clients via telehealth. Because of her extensive background in diversity, equity, and inclusion as a subject matter expert, Dr. Pierce focuses on client issues from a systems approach and helps clients recognize the self, the self in relation to others, socialization, and the intersectionality of client identities. She specializes in racial trauma, healing from past wounds, facilitating effective dialogue and communication and wellness.
