We know it can be difficult to consider investing in Counseling in this economy. However, in most cases, it is more affordable than you might think. Most Insurance Plans provide coverage for Mental/Behavioral Health, which helps to reduce your personal cost. In most cases, you will pay your co-pay amount or co-insurance percentage (after any deductibles are met) for each session.
When you call to book an appointment, our office staff will get your Insurance information, verify your benefits, and let you know what your cost would be. We accept many Private Insurance plans including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Tri-Care, and United Health Care.
Please note that Insurance does not cover Couples Counseling/Marriage Therapy.
We have Private Pay rates for those not using Insurance.
We offer reduced private pay rates to see our Provisionally Licensed Therapists and for clients who have Medicaid.
Please note that we are not able to bill Medicaid or Medicare.
Cancellation/No Show Rates
We understand there may be times you need to cancel or reschedule a session. We ask that you let us know at least 24 hours in advance. This enables us the option to fill that timeslot with another client needing to reschedule or get in quickly and makes sure our Counselors time is respected. As of February 1, 2024, our late cancellation (less than 24 hours before the session) fee is $50.00 and our "no show" fee is $100.00. (These fees are lower than the industry standard of charging the full session fee for a missed session.)
