
Gwendolyn Bynum (Gwen) brings more than 30 years of dedicated experience in social services, counseling individuals, adolescents, adults, families and children facing a wide range of personal, relational, emotional and behavioral challenges. She holds specialized expertise in behavior modification, trauma and crisis intervention, abuse recovery, grief counseling and parenting support.
Gwen is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), is a National Certified Counselor, and is a Board-Certified TeleMental Health Provider, allowing her to offer both in-person and remote services that meet the highest professional and ethical standards. She employs a strengths-based, evidence-driven approach to help clients identify and build on their existing resources, fostering resilience and long-term stability.
Deeply guided by her Christian faith, Gwen creates a therapeutic environment where clients who wish to integrate spiritual perspectives into their healing process can do so comfortably and respectfully. Whether addressing trauma, navigating life transitions or enhancing family dynamics, Gwen partners with each client to develop personalized strategies that promote growth, empowerment and lasting well-being.
